The light rain is hitting the windshield as I travel up the Interstate at 4:45AM in the morning. I am thinking this is probably not the best day for a sunrise photography workshop on the beach.

My wife and I have had the good fortune to travel to some of the most interesting and peaceful places. However, Italy’s Cinque Terre is a place like no other we have visited. “The Five Lands” is the most relaxing and tranquil places we have ever been.
The Cinque Terre is composed of five little unique villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore are located on the rugged coastline known as the Italian Rivera on Italy’s West Coast.

I find Pat Conroy’s quote so true . . . especially when reviewing photos of your journey.

This photo so reminds me of my youth. I remember mom driving us to the beach early on Saturday morning so we could surf all day. The waves were not anything like we read about in the Surfing Magazines, but we had so much fun riding our little Florida waves.
