Capture Brevard 2017 – A look at the lifestyle on the East Coast of Florida

For the second year in a row, I participated in a project to “Capture Brevard”, highlighting the lifestyle of the place I call home along the Central East Coast of Florida. Brevard County, also known as the “Space Coast” is the 10th largest county in Florida. Located halfway between Jacksonville and Miami, residents and visitors enjoy 72 miles of beaches, and vast inland waterway lagoons. Of course the Space Coast is known world-wide as the origin of space explorations and rocket launches.

How do you go about capturing the essence of where you live? Certainly, like most areas in the US, there is a great deal of diversity in the community. However, Brevard County, much like many other coastal areas in Florida, is all about our coastline. All who live here enjoy the nature and activities our beaches provide. Fishing, surfing, sunbathing, or just walking the beach looking for shells or sea turtles are among the many activates enjoyed by so many who live here. So, this year, my contribution to Capture Brevard highlighted the beach lifestyle our area provides. Here are the photos that, in my view, best Captures Brevard for 2017.
